La Era del Ruido is an Ithaca, NY-based experimental noise/drone duo comprised of Sergio Cote Barco and Juan Carlos Melendez-Torres. This project explores shared embodiment through sound at high volumes and long durations. Sergio and Juan Carlos are both doctoral students in the Department of Music at Cornell University.
